Double whammy first came the 100k England selection and then having put my running CV in for GB selection early March and due to Covid-19 waited patiently until the announcement and the phone call. Whilst elated always felt that I couldn’t celebrate due to the current climate and felt it may not take place with racing going left /right and centre.
Then I heard the news, having seen many races either postponed from that the race like many more were being cancelled.
Also I had been working on from last year helping to support a Leeds University Student 25th January 2019 and finally early this year in 2020 pushing to get Nicole’s film at the festival and to raise funds.
