This was my 2014 course record and due to the Rugby on last year missed a year. Glad to see the race back and despite heavy rain at the start and parts of the course windy and slippery I managed a PB.
Having not felt the top of my game and under the weather I was over the moon to come fourth overall and run a PB in 59:11. The desire is still to break the 59 barrier at some point but having run many ultra races know I need to get some speed back.
