The weather was humid but looking fine for some great running, what a great Belle’s turnout!
Many of our usual regular faces ready for action in order to score for the club. Also tagging along with me was our soon to be the newest member Nicki Aitken. She came along with me to support and as a formal introduction to Belgrave whilst awaiting club acceptance. After the event saw us finish fourth for the day against good completion and 5th in the league with 171 points. The nicest thing about the event is young ladies to the Vets which shows you are “never too old”. My 3000m wasn’t spectacular but the legs were not feeling it on the day and ran 10:32 for 2nd place and then the 1500m in 5:05 for 2nd place in the B string, i actually felt better in the 1500m, it must have been the warm up.
A large team turnout from Julia, Helen, Sandra, Julia, Carla, Jodie, Rose, Jodie, Jess, Zoe D, Nina, Julia, Carla, Leanne and the coaches that came to support us and time keeper duties.
