One of my favorite races to date, wasn’t sure what to expect on my first very challenging off road trail. I don’t think there was much more I could give, as it was tough all the way through with hill climbs, rocks, technical sections, gravel.. basically everything was in the mix including the drizzle which added to slippery sections and midges attaching themselves to my legs.
Pleased to have one with a 3 minute lead in 3hrs.29.21 and time is reflected on the race and finished just outside the top 10. Will be back next year for more pain, the quads are in repair as we speak.
