A great well organised race and back for the 2nd time. Managed to move up a placing and finished 2nd this year. Unfortunately although I was on for a life time best and paced by Alex (Boyfriend) we found the last 5k tough in the wind with no shelter and lost a lot of time. Weirdly though it felt even through the line comfortable and like I hadnt even run a marathon. So frustrating when in good condition and had done some great efforts leading upto Manchester. Based on my finishing time 2hrs 44 I realised I could run another race just over a month later and entered Edinburgh.
