A great way to end of the summer season and as the Autumn comeback marathon. An improvement from Manchester Marathon in spring where I ran 2hrs 44.14 For me a great preparation leading upto the day and despite cramping towards the end please with the finishing result. What was hard for me at the time was the cramping in my calves and stomach due to dehydration and suspect too many gels to push the end. We (Alex and I) were still on target 35k into the race and really lost the 2hrs 40 barrier as my target.
