Well, marathon no 2 finally arrived with the feeling that this has to be a run to the finish line so their was no question of pulling out! Hard graft in the race mentally and physically and on a positive didn’t loose my position and battled on to 3rd place. although the time I would have liked to be close to my 2.42 pb first marathon after foot surgery I was pleased to take 3rd and know I had finished. Thanks to the support and pacing with BF Alex and his parents for looking after us.
